Guided Fishing Trips:

At Red Door,  we offer the most veteran guided fishing trips on Lake Mille Lacs. Steve Fellegy, our primary fishing guide, has been guiding on the lake for over 45 years, starting at age 11. Running a 20ft. guide boat, Steve caters to 1-3 passengers for walleyes and muskies. No one on the lake has more experience at teaching all the fish catching methods used on the big lake no matter the time of the season or the fishing tactics you want to learn in detail. From bait and tackle details to boat control, Steve will teach you and put you on the fish. From novice to veteran angler, time with Steve will be the best fishing experience possible.

Rates include all fishing related gear, bait, gas and filleting your catch for up to three passengers (if need be, we can have Steve bring his partner guides to accommodate  any size group, up to 24 anglers):

5 hour trip--$325

All day trip, up to 10 hrs.--$450

I was born and raised on the eastside of Mille Lacs and have fished the Lake for over 45 years. I have a wide variety of knowledge and experience fishing the entire lake with live bait rigging and slip bobber techniques while fishing the shallow rock reefs. Call and book a combo trip of smallmouth and walleye and experience the best of both worlds.

I operate my guide service out of my home residence on Picard Point, 9 miles north of Isle on the eastside as well as the Red Door Resort of Mille Lacs Lake.
